Life.

I've Just realized I haven't posted in almost a year. Really  I use my livejournal for shopping for secondhand lolita, rarely do i use it for actual journaling. Anyway I thought maybe I should, I mean why not if this account is sitting here doing nothing and I think most people need to vent sometimes or show off what they've been doing. I think that's why the internet blogging thing is so popular, because people want to be recognized by someone even if its only online. They want someone to tell them how cool they are. They want people to "request" to be on THEIR friendlist. It's kind of...silly. I think the more we try to be connected via technology, the more isolated we become. All we want is instant gratification. I wish letters weren't dead; I adore getting letters. No, actually I'm not going to start journaling on here. I'm going to go write someone a letter.

Lovely Things.

I have gawked at Lolita clothing for years. The prices have pained me but the lace entranced me. So eventually (despite mother telling me i shouldn't dress like a little girl) I got some money for my birthday somehow and bought a few things. My collection now is SO small. A few offbrand things, socks from target, thrift store pieces. I did get my hands on some slightly less offbrand items. A retroscope OP and a bodyline skirt. My favorite is the corset i bought from listerinepree. But It's definitly not much. However these few things make me so happy when i piece them together. I feel giddy! Like i've really accomplished something, when i put on multiple skirts to achieve the "illusion" of wearing a petticoat. It has always been my favorite hobby, to make something out of nothing. But i think if I am committed, I may not have too. Once i turn 16 the game of finding clothes will be much easier because I can get a job then. Until then though, I am just saying, I'm very very happy with the small bits of beauty I can now find in my closet.

Writer's Block: Leave Room

What's your favorite dessert?
I felt i had to answer this question.
cupcakes are the best for sure.

You may ask "why are they any better than cake?".
Well they are so much cuter for one. they're also alot moister because they are smaller, and because of the little paper cups you don't have to clean the pan!

As far as other desserts...
They're concentrated goodness and can help you express your creativity. Kids love them as well as adults.
they're easy to make but can be escalated to a gourmet level. they come in so many different flavors, varieties and toppings.

Maybe i had a spiked cupcake by accident, but i think they're addicting and they just make you feel all warm and happy!
